Hello,

It’s been a while.

A little bit ago I wrote a short story featuring a protagonist who could jump consciousness from one body to another. I really liked this story, it was very cyberpunk in a way.

I integrated it into my unofficially linked series with a zombie-ish subtheme, but I think I may end up bringing it back as its own independent long-form piece, just cause it’s so cool.

Also, I’ve been struggling a little recently to really finish the two big things I’ve been working on. The world is a stressful place these days, and that sort of thing gets to me from time to time. I do my best work under a certain kind of stress, but that is acute, and this is broad. It’s hard to be motivated when you’re busy worrying. I’m very prone to worrying.

I love Mecha, especially with the cybernetic theme. The idea of a big war machine connected directly to its pilot is very inspiring for me. The big armor also feels thematically in line with my love of knights, so its a big win.

I have a fascination with long-range artillery, too. I really like the dwarf spider droids from star wars.

Anyway. I hope you’re all doing well. I’ve been reading some short horror fiction novels lately, both bestseller and indie. People are very creative, but also very horny. I’m not sure I understand it.

Be kind to each other, please.

Okay, bye-bye!
